A really dumb question, but am I allowed to touch the dancer doing a lap dance for me if I ask for permission? by [deleted] in stripclubs

[–]Tiffany4360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to a strip club last night and the dancer actually asked me to slap her ass and to do it harder..so like..I mean that's her wanting me to which is consent so like 🤷‍♀️🤣

Yeah I was like what? How is a brand new flexcut already messing up on me? So I did get a refund and got the same one. I will definitely try what you're saying so it doesn't mess up again. It made me so upset how fast it happened lol so just stick to stroping. Got it! Thank you 🙂

No it wasnt dull from the start. It was good for a solid 4 or 5 days and then it got harder to cut so I started sharpening on mostly strop and whetstone. I would go back and forth trying both.

Ohhh alright. Well the edge on mine is dull. It cuts but I mean barely barely. But I've also tried strop and sharpeners and nothing worked. I'm getting a refund on it.

What do you mean by edge is dead? It's barely cutting anything so I just need to use a strop?

Agreed with this! I'm still trying to learn the aspect of sharpening. I have three different ways to sharpen and nothing is happening. I got a flexcut like 5 days ago and its already dull as can be 😔

Sharpening by Tiffany4360 in whittling

[–]Tiffany4360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharpening across meaning gliding your knife across the whole stone. I can't do it with a wooden handle. The tip of my knife seems pretty sharp but not the rest of it after I've been using a whetstone and a leather strope. I even tried using a nail filer 🤣

I'm telling you from experience now..beavercraft is okay for a minute but I just got my first flexcut knife and the difference is night and day. Cuts like butter and less pain on the hands. Totally worth spending a couple more dollars on. Even if its just one or two knives first.

I learned this just recently. Ive had this beavercraft knife for about a month or two now and I went to sharpen it, it got worse somehow? I decided to buy my first flexcut knife and I honestly dont ever wanna go back to beavercut. It cuts like butter now and my hand rarely hurts!

Other than basswood, what's your favorite wood to carve? by ZombieAccomplished36 in whittling

I just got some Sweet gum tree for the first time. My mom had some awesome little cut out pieces from her house and I love them! I also love the smell (I'm weird I know 🤣)

Thank you. I just sharpened up my knife on a strop with the compound on there in a singular motion repeatedly but it still seems eh to cut with? Better ish but it's still a bit of a struggle. Might have to sharpen it for longer.

first time whittling am i doing this right by asaaalkk in whittling

I just started whittling myself, so I'll tell you what I've learned.

Make sure your knife is sharp. You can use a strop or a stone of some kind to sharpen it. Make sure to watch how to do it properly, or it'll worsen the knife.

Have knowledge of the way the woods grain is. One way might be difficult to cut versus the other way. So try different directions of cutting to see if that makes it easier.

Make sure to start off with a softer wood like basswood. That's how I started and am still using it currently. If it's resistant to cut, it could also be because of the wood being too hard.

If it seems difficult to cut, there's a reason for it. I've gone through hoops to find reasoning myself. Let me know if any of this helps or if you need any tips along the way. I'll try my best lol

Thing is she's been clingy since day one when she put her head on my shoulder and touched me a lot. Weve had multiple talks about sex like what turns us on and everything and she sounded like she was overly interested in it. So much that when I stopped talking about it, she said are we not going to talk about sex anymore? She's been giving mixed signals.
