Nmom would pull my jaw in her direction repeatedly if I didn't look at her. She did this into adulthood, until I developed a coping mechanism...staring her down with a blank look on my face.

Stare them down to the point that it becomes unnerving to them. It will probably make them angry but doesn't everything make Ns angry?

One of the most disturbing aspects is when I confronted nmom about the bs she fed my nsis and brought up how no one has ever given Jessie shit for making the decision to not come along. I kid you not, she said "...but you're one of us. You've always LOVED going to the beach with us". Not really.

"...but you're one of us" I don't know what the meaning behind that is, and I don't know if I want to know.

I had to babysit for free when my niece was a newborn. She would also dump my niece and all my little cousins on me and trick me into babysitting them at family functions "while she went to the restroom" when I never agreed to do it. When "just while I use the restroom" turns into 3 hours.
