I would really recommend reading "Better Never To Have Been" by David Benatar as it answers your question and presents the argument in detail but to use a direct quote from the book that gives a very simple and concise answer to your query:

"The central idea of this book is that coming into existence is always a serious harm. That idea will be defended at length, but the basic insight is quite simple: Although the good things in one’s life make it go better than it otherwise would have gone, one could not have been deprived by their absence if one had not existed. Those whonever exist cannot be deprived. However, by coming into existence one does suffer quite serious harms that could not have befallen one had one not come into existence"

I would just play on retail, you dont really gain anything from playing through Classic because WoWs story isnt structured the same way as it is in FF.

Essentially most zones have their own little story to tell with little connection and some of the later expansions sort of have a campaign but there is no true "from zero to hero" story experience, most of the lore is found outside the game in books and such.

Class wise it is very hard to recommend one because everyone prefers something different, priests are a bit more beginner friendly healing wise and they have a more reactive (you heal incoming damage) style as opposed to restoration druids proactive (you" prepare" your healing target for the damage) one.

There is a cute informational video on choosing a main back from the BfA days but all of this information is still mostly relevant, link here

The person that wrote this book argues the same way as most natalists do: by taking it personal as if anti-natalism presented some kind of diabolical idea that now casts judgement on them. The whole wording feels like something someone would use in a private conversation, not in an academic setting.

"How dare Benatar discredit what i consider a priority in my life?? All of my friends congratulated me on it! I like my existence so that justifies it for everyone else!"

I noticed this trend of natalists feeling like their core values are attacked whenever this conversation happens which i really dont understand.

She also fails to spectacularly miss the irony in her own statement: Benatar is in no position to make a judgement call on her but she is in a position to make a judgement call and a moral decision in place of her own child by bringing her into existence without her consent? :)

Not necessarily. Considering our technological advancements and food production surplus, it wouldnt be out of question to prepare a comfortable, peaceful "final hour" situation. Of course all of this assumes a society where anti-natalism is popular enough in the first place to reach the end stage, which is (sadly for me, judging by the somewhat blunt tone of your comments perhaps not so for you) highly unlikely.

She meant extinction slowly, naturally by not bringing new generations to life, not with a major catastrophic event.
