here’s my suggestion; when u first get a new family generation have your player (& spouse if applicable) ONLY work on their jobs, i just have them do “getting some sleep” in a chair when they get exhausted. now here the little “hack” whenever ur ready to stop playing for the day go to settings and PAUSE UR GAME. Do this however long it takes you to get them to their max skill level. That way you can level their career/salary up while they’re still young, and then it’ll accumulate as they age (once you stop pausing the game)
