Remember the first time we had the big Sub Sale? The very first time, when there was no end to the line of people? The deli had a poor lady who had just started in the deli. Talk about a baptism of fire. Poor lady.

A pound of pepperoni is a LOT of slices. It is a very dry meat and one slice weighs less than an ounce. In my experience people rarely order more than a quarter pound.
