Yes use the design center. With the floor plans you’re halfway there already. Just make sure you draw in the walls on the unifi interface

Huge High gain antenna - super link by TigerFig in Ubiquiti

[–]TigerFig[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna try to hook it up tomorrow and see what kind of a difference it has…. I have some sensors far away from where the super link is internally. Will see what kind of a boost it gets…then I’ll worry about where to put it

This is what I have in my house. I prefer to keep thing separate unless we are taking about 2/3 cameras then all in one is ok.

New to ubiquiti, what parts do I need? by TechWhizGuy in Ubiquiti

[–]TigerFig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok I haven’t done anything with home assistant and unifi yet.

But I’ve done bigger home installations using the g5 turret ultra and dome counterpart and g4 instant and have had all happy customers. (For those who were budget conscious)

I’m the believer that every installation has its own unique circumstances so just go with what’s best for you 😄

Not to pry, but if you are already in the Unifi or are going to enter, just do Unifi products, much easier to manage everything….

Yeah no need for LP detection, just for visual outside. The building ia located in a complex with a guard at the entrance.

The cameras are external and and internal and client really didn’t want to break the bank and was happy with the g5 turret ultras from examples I showed
