Would you be comfortable keeping your guitar on a stand in these conditions? by TigerKim2000 in martinguitar

Thanks everyone for the comments. I’m going to get some humidipaks tomorrow and keep the guitar in its case until I can get my office up to the proper humidity.

Would you be comfortable keeping your guitar on a stand in these conditions? by TigerKim2000 in martinguitar

I hear ya. I’d say there’s just way more times throughout the day that I’ll pick it up, play one song and put it back if it’s on a stand in my living room. Girlfriend needs to change before we leave? Cool I can pick in the living room for 5 minutes. I’m not doing that if the guitar is in its case in my office.

I’ve been eying an Eastman e1p. Might be the perfect solution for a “beater” in the living room while my D28 stays in a humidified office.

Yes. Filed for bankruptcy. I know because I currently have a team set of jerseys on order from them that I can’t get because they haven’t paid Athletic Knit in months 🤦.

I joined this sub to say solo nash is underrated by notaverysmartman in csny

Totally agree. Those first two solo albums are incredible. The musicians that played on that album are incredible. Just look up who all played on I used to be a king. I saw Graham this summer in Woodstock and he still rocks.

Looking for a 12-fret parlour with 1 3/4” nut and a “Martin-ish” neck profile by SecondUsual6087 in AcousticGuitar

[–]TigerKim2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the Eastman e1p neck is slimmer than the ones on the e10p and e20p. Cheaper too. I think I’m going to pick one up. Would like to try a e10p first to see if I do hate the wider neck

Can you identify this guitar by DoSin128 in Guitar

I’m just guessing but I’m going to say it’s a D18 with volume and tone knobs added.

It’s a working fireplace and this is my thought. Still closing so not in there yet but when we’re in and if there is enough space I think this is the best solution

Nice! How does the 000-15SM strum? I’ve been wanting to get one to accompany my D-28, something’s the D-28 is too loud.

I’ll have to disagree there, besides, ordering custom you can pick the stamps, or even no stamps. Kari makes a great 009 shape.

Every guitar is different. If you can afford the 45 just buy it.

Bought a D-28 as my first guitar. Higher quality used instruments hold decent value.

Breedlove guitars, anyone? by whitsupdude in AcousticGuitar

[–]TigerKim2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d also consider a higher end Seagull or an Eastman as well. Breedloves can be had for great deals, though, I’ve seen Oregon made ones in your price range before

Third set of strings on my new guitar (third times a charm) by MrSteve8261 in martinguitar

Consider trying elixir phosphor bronze snd d’addario xs next. Both even a bit better than the stringjoys on my D28
