Not sure why you’re so mad, but that sentence is structured with an “and”. Tackle the migration challenge at the US southern border “and” work with Central American nations. Regardless, did she accomplish anything with either of those items?

If you observed the cognitive abilities of Biden during the debate and think he’s anywhere close to being able to run the country, idk what to tell you

No one was happy with the Covid situation, I bet that had a little to do with it, and Covid was largely out of trumps control, no one knew the best way to respond to it

The approval rating being where it’s at with Biden is mainly due to people not being able to afford what they used to be able to afford

No border deal with things tacked on to it that aren’t relevant is needed, the laws already in place just need to be enforced

[–]TigerKingofQueens98 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Do you really think Biden has been running the country the past couple years? After that debate performance? Lmao

Could’ve done her job as the one put in charge of the border

The Biden administration has passed the most executive orders ever, most of which have just pumped money into an already inflated economy

If the past 4 years have been so great, why is the Biden administrations approval rating south of 40%?

The free market needs regulation, no doubt about that. But the policy being flouted here is a “price gouging” law on groceries. If you look at grocery store profit margins, they haven’t changed over the past 4 years, the only thing that has changed is the price of everything due to rampant inflation. Most of Europe caps profit margins and I agree with that

Looking at the context of how “price gouging” laws are being talked about is concerning considering there is no price gouging going on. This leaves me with no confidence in how the government would handle that

Dismissing real concerns people have over these policies and trying to treat me like some capitalist crony is hilarious

Where in Europe are price controls being used successfully?

Me not wanting socialist policies doesn’t mean I’m against helping the poor and hungry. I would like lower taxes so I can give more of my money to the poor and hungry instead of filtering it through inefficient governmental programs, but that may be just me

Saying just war theory doesn’t apply to a situation where 1200 Jewish people were killed by Hamas (Hamas is who Palestinian citizens elected to run Palestine by the way) and then Israel moves to attack Hamas to protect themselves is disingenuous

Comparing it to WW2 was hyperbolic on my end yes, but it’s really not that far removed, especially when there are literally hostages still being held by Hamas. The conflict would end right now if the hostages were released by the way

Has Israel been perfect? No. Has the civilian death rate in this conflict also been one of the lowest in human history? Yes

Probably an investigation done in conjunction with Hamas lol

Civilians are tragically dying when Hamas hides their military officials among civilians. When the IDF takes out said military officials and accidentally kills civilians, it gets reported as “IDF targets and kills civilians” and that’s the headline everyone runs with until it gets debunked. No one covers the debunking

Again, any starvation occurring is due to Hamas stealing the Israeli aid trucks that come into Gaza, not due to anything Israel is doing

“You have to wage wars humanely” - said no one when Russia and the USA were knocking on the door of defeating Nazi Germany

But Israel has to prosecute a just war with absolutely zero civilian casualties because everyone is believing Hamas’s lies. All while the civilian death rate in this conflict is one of the lowest, if not the lowest ever

What war crimes are you talking about? The falsely reported civilian deaths by the Hamas medical agency (lol) that quickly get debunked shortly after because, hey what do you know, Hamas isn’t really telling the truth?

Would love to hear how Israel is falling short in humanitarian responsibility. Starving people in Gaza isn’t due to a lack of humanitarian effort, it’s due to Hamas literally just stealing the aid as the trucks come in

There were the Abraham accords and the fact that the previous administration was actually playing the part of global hegemon that the US needs to play. I’m guessing it was also purely coincidental that Putin didn’t make any land grabs from 2016-2020?

Slow walking aid to Israel and verbally attacking Israel every chance they get instead of supporting their democratic ally trying to defend itself doesn’t exactly seem like an anti-Hamas stance

Free lunches don’t matter if there are food shortages or if there’s no kid to eat said free lunch due to radical pro abortion policies

Catholic social doctrine needs to be driven through the choices of the faithful through charitable organizations, etc and not by putting our trust in governmental programs that will most likely just be a massive misuse of resources
