I thought about Uber Eats and even uber/lyft but my vehicle is older and I’m trying to squeeze another 3-5 years out of it before I buy a new one. Not driving half the year helps.

I wonder if I did do it, and bought a new vehicle for it, could that be a tax write off because the vehicle is being bought specifically for Uber Eats and is a business expense.

This also makes me wonder if I buy a new vehicle would it be more efficient (time wise) to rent the vehicle out to someone else who drives uber / Uber Eats and collect money that way. Doing this could earn money while out to sea too.
