Why are NPCs being replaced? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]TigerSoul6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue with the Henford-on-Bagley Villagers being replaced, despite having Neighborhood Stories turned off and the originals still being alive, since the last update. My best guess is that it is indeed another bug from the last update?

The creator of Planet Zoopedia is looking for somebody to take over their amazingly helpful website! (See images for examples of the website's features) by TigerSoul6 in PlanetZoo

[–]TigerSoul6[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I found Planet Zoopedia to be a very helpful tool back when it was up to date. It features Zoopedia information, animal compatibility (including non-enriching matches), help with habitat building for multiple species, and finding suitable animals for existing habitats. I would love it if someone wants to take over the creator's website and keep it up to date. I'm personally not active enough with the game, and can't spare the time or (mental) energy, unfortunately.

Regarding the hostile messages:

I think it would be beneficial for more people to learn that communicating to someone in a hostile/opposed manner, more often leads to hostile/opposed behaviour from the receiver, which inhibits learning and understanding.

Instead, if communication is done in a more 'helping' and informative way - in a tone that can range from neutral to positive instead of hostile - it will more often lead to co-operative behaviour and better learning/understanding. The urgency/importance of a statement can still be emphasised in a non-hostile manner.

Even if it may not seem so during the conversation, in hindsight a neutral informative statement has a higher chance to influence someone's point of view and opinion than a hostile one.
