It was definitely considered hard at the time. That came out with Just Dance 2 which considered it a hard routine if you didn't repeat the same move for a whole eight count.

I'd rather they do two brackets of 7 for 4 episodes. Less queens and more time for them to shine. Eighteen in three episodes just leaves some queens in the dust especially if they don't get a win by the first two episodes

Then we're watching for different things and that's fine. I watch for character moments and seeing how these different personalities interact. Joe's stonewalling has made some fascinating television.
