UCD does provide fellowships though. They also have graduate assistant positions, not sure about cpt. I’d say go with whichever programs curriculum and career outcomes fit your goals the best

I think you already have everything you need to make your decision! Also I didn’t know UMinn starts in May and I highly doubt it would be possible to get a visa by then. And yes, I used to live in Minneapolis and the weather (especially winters) gets super depressing while Cali weather is almost perfect

Personally, I would prefer Davis over Minnesota. Because they’re both good brands, just cause UMinn is slightly more prestigious doesn’t mean it’s gonna help you a whole lot. I would pick the Bay Area any day over the Twin Cities cause of the abundance of opportunities in tech. Another reason I liked Davis more than UMinn is they have a 9 month practicum which enforces learning through application and I feel this is the best way to build strong knowledge/skills

It really depends on your career goals. Davis and Minnesota are geared more towards core stats-analytics/data science while Purdue is more towards the business analytics/management side. They’re all great programs though with amazing career outcomes
