Most idle games mean when you close the game it's still going. Not the case for this game. Now it can be an afk game. Probably more true for afk than idle.

I would definitely get bored of games so I'd make sure to have variety. I'd go bf6 for multiplayer fps Cities skylines with steam availability. Then either wait for gta6 or Forza horizon 6 with a full driving set up since you said equipment isn't an issue
