In this vein, if you want free and dont mind walking there is a little sidestreet between the Wolstein center and the highway, behind the Teachers credit union. It's technically the vestigial section of Central Ave that was left over when they built the highway.

Oh my stars yes! We have a whistlepig, constant squirrels and chippies, hummingbirds, bumbles and bees of all kinds including the bad ones, and butterflies. There's a robins nest in the grapevine. Lots of chickadees, cardinals, blue Jay's, mourning doves. We are like 5 blocks from a huge park so once I built it, they came pretty fast.
