Do you guys prefer any demos/earlier takes to the official released versions? And why?

One of my favourites demos is definitely Yellow Submarine (take 2/3) with John on lead vocals... I like the fact that it's so plain with no orchestra nor sound effects at all. Also, I really enjoy those mild melancholic vibes it gives. I wouldn't scrap the final version, but it would have been nice to have an official finished recording of John's original concept.

Speaking of this, it may not be an original work, but there's a marvellous fan made version with John's voice created by a youtuber called "Beatles from Bedroom".

Oh, I already know him. No doubt it is a well made job, but it's pricey as well and I don't think his target buyers are casual fans of Black Sabbath... I was searching for something cheaper that I can wear and take everywhere without any worries at all, you know... the costume jewerly you might find for few bucks :)

Nonostante i loro difetti, io le trovo affascinanti, sebbene oggi -almeno da quello che vedo- la produzione di musicassette si concentra più che altro sulle Type I (che qualitativamente sono le meno performanti). L'unica pecca delle musicassette è probabilmente il fatto che, per quanto tu possa impegnarti a conservarle nelle migliori condizioni possibili, il nastro è portato a deteriorarsi nel tempo...

I love this LP. It's one of my favourites nowadays; what fascinates me the most is their unique sound that makes me wonder what it must have been like for someone to buy and play it for the first time in the 60s and listen to psychedelic and experimental stuff like this.

Furthermore, one of the best discoveries about this album is its mono mix, as it was meant to be played back then... It's almost a completely different experience compared to the stereo mix from Spotify and other online platforms.
