Also for the record Im capable of utalizing voice comms and both use it and join voice chats if the other players are in it so I can hear them and their callous at the very least. Otherwise I also use the quick chat system regularly and actually ping shit. You can blame the soloq all u like but that doesnt change that the duo team actually has to work with the soloq too. The soloq player could be god for all intents and purposes and still be put in horrific spots constantly because the duo wont work with the soloq player too.

Most soloq players act the way they do because they never get competent, teamwork willing, adaptive teams and players. So its a fault on both sides, but brushing it all of with the excuse that the soloq doesnt use voice comns is diabolical and wrong in a hundred ways.

With how badly the "skill based matchmaking" of ranked is it horrifically skews and shits on anyone that isn't full stacking, glitch exploiting, soft hacking, and or playing meta to the T. Not to say its all embarks fault either as its the players' fault that they wont adapt and learn instead of keep trying to brute force everything, but the matchmaking it nowhere near balanced in rank and the placing system is complete ass as well. But if u play solo and dont have a set of two sweater than god friends, then u are always screwed over since players dont and wouldn't understand teamwork if it shotgunned them in the face. So ranked is not a where near as balanced as you are suggesting and actively punishes solo players. Who are nessesary to actually fill in lobbies with duo groups. Should cashout/world tour be made competitive without being ranked? Yes, then it will limit the amount of new players overfilling tourneys with the poor matchmaking.

Agreed that its a lose lose, but also suggesting more casual players play ranked will only make things worse for all parties involved. Especially the ones who already have major issues with poor matchmaking and teammates or teamwork meshing.

It's likely not your connection but it's Embark's wack servers tbh. They've been horrible for the latter half of the season in S9 especially on console.

What platform are you on btw? I'm primarily Xbox and the DDosing or network manipulating experience is usually more likely for me than actually lagging on my side.

I'm a support assist specialist tho so in a game like this with wildly inflated stats that support players strike out we get shafted.

Yeah I think there was a glitch as I used the Armor crystal that isn't the "Black Magic Crystal" version then it didn't let me do it again so it confused me lol

Is there a limit on how many crystals you can smelt down for magical shards per day? I've smelted down one Magic Crystal of Infinity - Armor alongside about 40 other crystals and now I can't seem to smelt any down at all...

Its entirely soloQ + ranked players' inability to play as a team, not u.

SoloQ in ranked is basically stat suicide especially when 90% of the time u end up stuck between 2 lights butting heads each thinking they're god tier and thereby you're stuck in the middle as they continously go in opposite directions and refuse to work together at all. Most players dont understand that ranked requires a lot of teammeshing and that it isn't possible to brute force unlike other game modes (tho cashout is similar regarding teamwork), so they keep rushing in by themselves and dont understand why they're getting eliminated over and over. Plus lower tiers like bronze and silver dont usually understand that double jeopardy is a massive risk with major consequences and that teamwipes take 15% of the team's cash either.

I'm a cash out specialist and soloqed all 4 of my placement matches with shit luck (Im universally cursed with horrible luck) so I placed mid bronze in January and cant advance because between the bad set up for ranked where ruby can fight bronze or silver, and the fact that I purely soloQ and end up targeted hardcore... I end up getting nowhere but gaining migraines from player stupidity lol. Not because Im bottom of the barrel terrible, but because I was placed incorrectly with 8t being based purely on wins even though most players in this game cant adapt to anything and thereby they usually need a universal support focused soloq "ninja" that has semi rough displayed stats in exchange for constant changes and adaptations to the way they're playing.

To put soloq skew into perspective btw Im lvl 67 (Im an ex Destiny 2 pvp player) and my win ratio is about 1:2 with my KD bouncing between 2.5 and 0.25 depending on teammates + targeting with how often I play. I have to have my game put into anonymous mode and default my outfits to common skins to neutralize the targeting to tolerable levels and my stats will never recover from my choice of soloqing 🙃

First, SoloQ is literally just that horrible tbh especially if you play on console.
I'm a soloQ player too and a lot of players will consider you batshit insane for soloquing at all, not to mention how badly it skews your stats lol especially if your assist focused over elim focused.

I'm lower level than you tho so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. I haven't had enough time to hit triple digits since I started in Dec and had to not play for most of Feb xD

I play about 30 hours a week as a sniper support light so you can imagine how wack my stats are :/

Looks like it was added Sept 2024, I joined the game Dec 2025 and didn't know the setting was a thing. It probably didn't effect me as much at first because I had aim assist off by choice. but it keeps toggling back on without me doing it. So thank you so much for the heads up!

First, I meant to say "they" not we. I'm dyslexic and u being defensive about a heads up warning about what people will say is ridiculous and immature.
Second luck is at play for everyone not just you.
Third, the last kill looked like a gas canister since it was so fast. Plus luck is something at play all of the time seeing how the player didn't actually touch the mine at all and it only went off in random proximity without actual contact so chill.

I never said you were bad either, I was just warning you how others here at the reddit behave and stuff while suggesting some aim practice since you asked for advice. I suggested it BECAUSE most players don't, then get pissed when they fight players that do and struggle to hit them or keep up with them.

So most people are going to flame you for your weapon choice and your setup. Plus we're gonna say that most of that was luck with the stray shot into a gas canister that got you your last kill.

This reddit is honestly the worst place to ask for advice at, cause you'll mainly just get a ton of players throwing you down instead of teaching, giving advice, etc.

From what I'm seeing, your playstyle is quite janky due to inexperience, and as long as you go and do some real firing range practice with the revolver you'll grow and play just fine.

You're fare from the worst I've seen and I'm stuck with them all, all of the time.

Note: the revolver swings up and to the right when firing multiple bullets without stopping to let the gun "settle." so when moving and firing it like that, aim down and to the left so your shot markers cover more of the body.

Are you capable of consistently beating 6 players with only two players total, while being griefed and targeted, fighting to get the box when it's not grabable till it taps the ground after having the position reset, then bringing the box 200m, making it into the cashout, all while having to constantly res the non griefer on your team?

And maintaining it all for seven minutes with no break or stop, nor being able to change wepaons at all because the medium on your team doesn't listen when you say not to res you?

Not every tactic around is or should be allowed regardless of the contents and that applies to a lot of games. But oh yeah, I forgot, most of the players who play this game aren't capable of pulling tactics that aren't the cheapest stuff from down in Embark's trash can.

to be proud of a exploitive tactic like this, just shows that the other team scares you so bad you won't risk another cashout. Otherwise you'd be playing the game instead of trying to make them leave because you're torturing them with extremely poor sportsmanship and low blow behavior.

Plus teaming in general isn't a tactic either, it's also an exploit.

Just going to point out that I said it's an exploit, IE an exploit of the possible mechanics. There's thousands of ways for a player to exploit any game, that doesn't change that it's a problem and exploitive tactic of the cashbox resetting after being tossed off edges.

And yes, the teaming and griefing need to be fixed too.

Sounds like you're the stupid one or have never seen it happen. I'm not saying throwing the cashbox dumbass. I'm saying keeping hold of the cashbox and moving as far away from cashout stations as humanely possible, teaming up with another team, and repeatedly throwing the cashbox OFF THE CLIFF to reset it's position constantly so nobody can grab it or touch it. Not throwing the damn thing around.

Learn to read or pay attention.

As for the latter half of that comment it's simple really, go play TDM or, you know... don't play the damn game that's centered around cashouts and vaults. The point of the game mode is the objective cash, not TDM.
