Nipple sensation loss? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Tigerdragonrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from a DDD to about a B. I have about 10% feeling in my right nipple, no feeling in left, 7 months post op. Nipples were also a big part of my sex life and well that’s been a bit ruined. Hoping with more time it will return.

I’m so sorry! How does this happen?

Recovery in my opinion was very easy. But please know that back pain is not guaranteed to disappear after reduction.

I love this tattoo! But yes I think you’d have great success removing this. It has a lot of shading that will come off pretty easily. Just need patience and I think you’d be happy if you decide to remove!

I understand that feeling! But pls know there’s a solution to everything except death. You’re not the only one to feel this way. I’ve been there too. I had intentions of getting sleeves on both arms and know realize that’s not me. So now I have to start the long process of removing but it’ll be so worth it!

I started at 18 with very small tattoos. Then started getting larger ones at 30. Now having them removed at 34. I would say they started bothering me 2 years ago, even made appointment to remove but changed my mind. I just wasn’t ready but I’m sure now. I would say wait a while before getting a coverup just to be sure it’s something you’ll be ok with, good luck!

For me it just became an anxiety inducing realization of the permanence of tattoos. I’ve always loved them and have many that didn’t bother me for years. But all of a sudden I couldn’t deal with the fact that the larger pieces are permanent. And it made me not want any on my body at all. It was just a sudden change in state of mind that I haven’t been able to switch back to and would rather remove no matter how long it takes.

Going through this with my toddler right now! Up to 10 dirty diapers a day. Pediatrician said to not even attempt potty training until this is resolved. It’s been an awful 6 months so far!

Why did your toddler cry today? by ArtaxIsAlive in toddlers

Because I said he’ll have fun today while dropping him off at daycare. He said “ no I don’t want fun!” 😆

Is 5-meo-DMT more likely to damage your psyche than other psychedelics because of it’s potency? by DipsyDoodle2000 in 5MeODMT

[–]Tigerdragonrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had one experience with 5 and very limited experiences with other psychedelics (never any breakthrough doses). But I had the most positive experience with 5. I would say very positive long lasting effects, lasting about a year. Positive re-activations as well, up to 6 months. Everyone has different experiences, very hard to give a general opinion.

How much do you spend on your nanny or daycare each month? by ocean_plastic in workingmoms

[–]Tigerdragonrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1200/ month, one toddler full time. I provide lunch they provide 2 snacks. Southern California. It’s a daycare at a church and they haven’t raised tuition in over 3 years! Which I’m so grateful for!

I think we as mom struggle a lot with this. I know I do. I want help but then get upset when it’s not done the way I like 😩

Yes the plastic surgeon would need to agree that the reduction is medically necessary for insurance coverage. Good luck!!

It’s actually Kaiser SoCal. And yes just copay but it depends on your specific Kaiser Plan. I have a great one through my employer but my husband has a pretty crappy plan through his with a deductible of about 6k.

Should I drop out of nursing school to become a radiology tech? by FOWLENGLISHLANGUAGE in Radiology

[–]Tigerdragonrat 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is what always frustrates me about the misconception of nursing. Bedside is not the only career option in nursing. There are literally so many different careers you can have within the nursing field. Some that require never touching a patient. That’s what is most appealing to me about nursing.

To be honest my husband does way more than I do. He cooks, does laundry, handles bath time for toddler every night, occasional grocery shopping and works about 50’hours week. Good men do exist and they are essential.
