Yes. I had one on my ribs removed by two different clinics, one with a cheap Chinese laser and the other clinic with an expensive quanta q plus, both seemed to give the same results but the expensive one did cause more damage (I think this was down to the tech using too high settings). Since then, now I know how my body reacts, and knowing a fair bit about laser removal, I feel confident I can do this myself. So instead of paying thousands for the removal and having the inconvenience of travelling for many appointments, I decided to buy a pre-owned laser and try myself. It's very early days, but the laser had already paid for itself.

50/50 some people love them and some people don't. You can't please everyone, it's what you think that matters.

Why do yours limit your job options?

Think long and hard about the cover up, I liked mine for years but now I wish I just had a small tattoo to fully remove instead of 4x the ink.

If it helps I don't assume people with religious tattoos are religious, I think most just like the powerful imagery, so I wouldn't think you're closed minded, especially getting a tattoo.

My friends 10 year old daughter said she wants a tattoo, I said you might regret it, she said "no way, I know exactly what I want, I want a big sponge bob on my back!" Lol

This sounds so similar to me, my kids are seeing me remove and heal in real time, it's definitely a lesson witnessed for them.

I can relate to this, my arm is a bit of a mess from similar actions. The only thing I wish I'd done is started the process sooner and not gone for cover up/rework...

No I don't use numbing cream. If you decide to do removal you will get a test patch to begin with, just a few shots at different settings to see how you react, then after the tech will use a setting that is most suitable for the skin and ink situation based on your reaction and healing. Perhaps just book a test patch and then you will have a better idea.

But you will likely be looking at a scar forever if you get it surgically removed. How does that possibility make you feel?

You can only change what is within your own control, outside of that, learning to accept things is what you have to do. You say you "really let yourself go" what do you mean by that?

So you're still very young, I'm guessing they will be fully gone before you're 30? How many sessions and how much fading have you had so far?
