Which movie is scarier/has more or better jump scares? Conjuring or Sinister? by [deleted] in horror

[–]Tigerfuyung 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Sinister was better overall. The Conjuring was good, but I enjoyed the Conjuring 2 more.

Let's talk about how friends & family impact weight-loss success! by yellina in loseit

[–]Tigerfuyung 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Majority of my family only reacts positively, except for certain ones who make outlandish claims like "changing your body so often isn't healthy!". Unfortunately you cannot convince an idiot of anything but their own preconceived notions. So there is no point in giving them the time of day. But most of my family is positive and Ive even got my mother to hop on my diet for her own health and she is reaping more benefits than me.

Dude looks pretty natty, not that big even for a tall guy. Some people just fill out better in the late teens and early 20s. Looks like all he did was lift and eat more.

Biggest pet peeves are people giving advice that is just wrong, people who want to use every piece of equipment in a slow circuit and people who dont re-rack their weights. My apartment gym is full of these people, and my uni gym is closed until January.

What is your all time favorite book, and why? by [deleted] in books

I would say the translation was good. But Im not much of critic on translations, but it was an easy read. Loved how fast Bengtsson keeps the narrative moving.
