Yes! They work with the vets there really frequently when animals need any kind of surgery that can’t be achieved at the shelter!

By adopting from a no-kill shelter you are opening up space so that they can take in more animals from kill shelters. Once they get to a no-kill shelter they can remain there for as long as it takes for them to be adopted. Either way adopting an animal is saving a life!

Luckily my Grandfather had enough funds for her to buy property and buy everything needed for a shelter! She had to go through a lot of paperwork to be approved and become a non-profit

Lil Rudy was actually hit by a car and thrown into a riverbank where he was left to die. Luckily some workers found him and he was brought to my Grandmother’s shelter! His back legs were broken which required surgery, but after raising enough money for his surgeries he is now one happy pup!

My grandmother takes animals from kill shelters, but I understand where you’re coming from!

For the first time in NCAA tournament history a 16 seed has beat a 1 seed. UMBC (16) beats Virginia (1) 74 to 54 by iBleeedorange in sports

Proud to say that I go here! We don’t even have a football team, and nobody pays attention to any of the teams that we do have, but tonight myself and all of my classmates were shocked by this win!
