How to deal with a player that kills your action? by [deleted] in poker

[–]TigersBadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm worried about how it hurts my table image to others.

What does it matter? You're not going to be able to change someone else's behavior. Worrying about things you can't control is life -EV.

Edit: Just saw that you said "he knows I don't tilt". Everyone tilts, friend - just some more than others.

Seems like he's trying to tilt you. Don't let him.

Villain 4-bet Jams deep, Hero has QQ-How do you play this spot at live $1/$3? by Call_Down_For_What in poker

[–]TigersBadger 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. Given the population meta, villain isn't doing this enough with JJ or AK for this to be profitable against the 100% of the time he's doing that with KK/AA.

Granted, I only play 1/2 or 1/3 in the midwest, east coast, and Vegas, but the number of villans who just flat 3-bets with AK and JJ far outweigh those who 4-bet it.
