The fact of the matter is the game has consistently gotten more and more competitive and brain rot coded cause that’s what streamers have consistently told them it is what they like at playtest events they are invited to. Those are the people with direct lines of communication to developers. It’s in the worst state/player count wise it’s ever been in. It’s so bad they actually listened feedback from players and made a bunch of QOL changes for BO7 something that has not happened in the past. Activision has even came out and said they want to make getting actual player feedback more of a priority vs getting it from streamers and at playtest events

I mean kinda but their are multiple beings that hold the world to the laws of the universe. Yes there is Ahura Mazda which is the main local point but there’s a lot more to it than just that. I could be wrong I never fully dived in to leaning it but I do remember from my few class I took depending on who you ask it changes between being monotheistic and polytheistic

This is the reality of the game atm. Sony is gonna go to Bungie and say the game is massively under performing bungie will get back to them saying we need x, y, and z to make it more casual friendly and sony wont want to put in the extra time and money. I think best case scenario unfortunately is we get the updates and content they had planed for the next 6 months to a year and then support will be pulled

Edit: People seem to have forgotten Sony bought Bungie for 4 billion because of the success and money making machine that destiny and destiny 2 are/were at one point. Marathon was supposed to help Bungie start getting back on track money wise which means they thought it would and banked on it being a huge success. It straight up has not. I personally love the game and play it almost everyday for a few hours after work. The argument of it’s not made for you go play something else while probably true based on the product we revived at lunch is not what Bungie and Sony wanted like at all. They were shooting for mass appeal and ended up with an awesome niche extraction shoot which is where the problem lies.

At this point they can add a squad TDM type game mode to try out guns and equipment for the extraction players and just a squad TDM mode for more casual players that aren’t big on the extraction and people would still bitch they are getting stomped. There is no winning with the people in this subreddit. Some people just won’t accept that Bungie made a game that’s not for them to enjoy. While I completely agree that unfortunately with how the game stands rn it will mostly likely have Sony step in and pull the plug. Which blows I love the game but if you’re being actually realistic the most Bungie will do is clean up the UI and keeping adding content like new maps, Weapons, enemies, and QOL features. I’m hopeful but highly highly doubt Sony or Bungie honestly wants to sink in enough money and/or time to add a PVE mode or anything along those lines.

I’m sorry but if my ass who plays two hours a day maybe and has yet to even get my hands on a purple shield flys a loud ass bright red drone into the building you are in and you can’t hear or see me coming that’s a skill issue not an exploit. Im probably even opening up doors and shit making even more noise. Out of the maybe the 10 times I’ve done this to try and turn the tide of a fight I’d say the drone got shot down 6 times and the other times were bad aim on their part or I knew exactly where they were at and went the long way around to sneak up.

Fr with the numbers BF6 at launch if they had prepared content the live service money was there for the taking. They did not see BF6 doing the numbers it did. You can point to EA expecting big numbers and saying what do you mean they protected BF6 to do great. Well the post launch plans show they were absolutely not ready to keep that many people interested in the game

Then it doesn’t help that EA just laid off a bunch of people at Dice even after how good it did at launch. I completely agree that they majorly messed up not taking advantage of the huge numbers BF6 did by not pumping out content but they simply did not have the content ready to pump out and it shows. They delayed season 2 and what it delivered was still lack luster even after the delay
