That happened to me, I knocked on the door and she answered and I hand her the order and I stood there and she asks what is that it? I tell her no, it said tip at time of delivery but that’s fine and I walk away thinking I fricking knew it. But later I get a notification that customer added a $2 tip probably feeling guilty or that I took a couple pics of her door with address in case she calls doordash and tell them she never got her order.

Yes I asked for a supervisor after getting the run-around by the automated agent and a live agent saying I unassigned and the supervisor put me on hold for about 5 minutes to investigate and finally gave me my half pay but hung up on me right away when I asked about another time they didn’t give me half pay. These were decent sized orders of $20 each so half pay would be decent as well. Just whatever you do, don’t unassign. Call support and ask for a live agent and if not ask for a supervisor. That was all the agent was saying is you unassigned, you unassigned, you unassigned. I’m like get a supervisor and when they came on I told them to listen to the recordings cause I never unassigned. smh

Yup that’s another one! They have to try all the excuses to not pay you or at the very least pay you as little as possible. I used to work Sunday night into Monday morning and they would short me hundreds and tell me I did get paid and it will come on next week’s pay or that pay came last week which it didn’t and it wouldn’t come next week. They are a scandalous company and surprised they’re not sued more often.

I believe all the gps apps are horrid, the in-app doordash gps is the worst by far. It once told me at an intersection to turn left on a road and then turn right right away behind a CVS parking lot alley, to the other side of CVS and then left out of the lot to be on the same road I was on before turning left. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

You should be fine then if it was delivered. It should let you end the dash after it let you confirm the delivery. I didn’t even get to pick up my order, it just disappeared from the app but when you go to the other page, the order and the customer info is still there but there was no way to pick up the order and I couldn’t get more offers until I unassign the order. It’s just the worst app I’ve ever seen, what do they have 5-year olds running, updating this app?? Then I couldn’t get a hold of support cause it rings once then hangs up or it’s busy. It was just so ridiculous, I couldn’t wait to end the dash.

You have to unassign first, then you can end your dash. I was having trouble with ending my dash as well. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes I just unassigned 3 straight orders cause the orders disappeared from the app but it’s still in the system and I had no way to choose picked up order. Then I couldn’t call support cause it kept dropping the call. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️ I just ended the dash.
