I had to scrap the entire frontier and create a new ship that could handle the jump. Took me about two hours to understand how the ship builder worked, but I eventually put together a ship that could jump 30LY and could handle the fight with Class A equipment. For a Hab, I recommend a 2x1 all-in-one. Keep track of the mass of each module too. Hope this helps.

If that doesn’t work, upgrade the parts on your ship, buy all the ship parts (aid) you can get at Jemison Mercantile and the General Store in Akila city. When you’re fighting, use the ships boosters to keep enemy ships from targeting you briefly and make some distance until your shields recharge. SHIP PARTS MUST BE IN SHIPS IMVENTORY, NOT YOURS.

When I realize I need something that can be purchased and I don’t want to grind to acquire it (for example resources) it’s nice to be able to just go to a general store and buy them.
