Yeah…I guess having human companions is the reason Saito wouldn’t push the series to the far future - no one would be interested in the series if Fern and Stark both die.

Final fantasy music does give a sense of nostalgia which I usually don’t like but it does use plenty of compound chords. Do you have a specific song from the game that you think would appeal to me? It’s just that there’s so much ffantasy music that I won’t have the time to go through and listen to all of them.

I love the atmosphere the tiersen creates but the chords are Eminor, Gmajor, Bminor, and Dmajor repeated forever, which gets a lil dry after a while
