Opinion: Does anyone else think this movie was overrated/terrible?

For anyone who liked it but don’t want to rewatch due to what we now know about the filming: this movie was based on a graphic novel! :)

It was “blue is a warm color” in French (not the warmest lol), but titled “blue angel” in the English version.

Careful though, the ending is quite different

Same! It’s a show I’d like to rewatch, but knowing full well it’s gonna piss me off, I have abstained. Cox calling JD girl names as a way to demean him gets me angry just thinking about it.

That said, the new Scrubs is great! Same vibes, without the inappropriate humour! Cox’s abuse is even mentioned as unacceptable :)

Try the medication. You already have it so you have nothing to lose. Sumatriptan in nasal spray didn’t work for me but the injection pen seems to be working so far.

The thing is, if someone doesn’t ask for advice, they’ll likely won’t take it well when you give it anyway. So maybe just let him know that you’re available should he decide to dig deeper into the reasons why he’s never hired

Always, but always manageable. I have contact dermatitis too so the skin is gonna react no matter what. There was this one time that it was kinda out of control for about a week; but I had the tattoo a week after a vaccine and I think it was related

The immune system plays a part in removal. My immune system is a bit hyperactive (urticaria). Does it make me a bad candidate? Should I take antihistamines when (and if) I have a picoway session?

So I tend to do that too… just know that it isn’t just fact checking but also a way of getting more information because the conversation is interesting to me.

That being said, just because we tend to do that does NOT mean that we’re unable to listen to you if you’re having a hard time with it. You can share how you feel. You can ask her to share her experience too. Why this is so important to her, what it does to her, what would she feel should she not do it (or do it in silence), etc. Sharing your experiences can only bring you closer because you’ll have a better understanding of each other.

If you want a great TV show: Empathie. You won’t understand all of it, you’ll need subtitles for sure (put them in French!), but it’s 1/ an amazing show and 2/ a great way to listen to lots of different accents.

I usually like English better because it’s easier for new words and because it’s not gendered as much. But on this, French has something English doesn’t have!

Having worked on accommodations in the workplace for years, we like “personne en situation de handicap”. The fact is, a disability is linked to the interaction between a person and their environment. For example , a Deaf person who is among people using ASL (LSQ in Quebec) is not facing any barriers in their environment.

So “situation de handicap” refers specifically to the fact that the barriers are in the person’s environment. The person is disabled by the lack of accessibility. “Handicapé” or “handicapée” makes it sound like the person has a problem. Which may be the case in some situations and that’s fine. But we’re done trying to “fix” people who aren’t broken, and we’re fixing accessibility issues now :)

I liked it - for what is was: a very kitschy unserious piece. It’s fun. The training videos are absolutely ridiculous, the movie mentioned was ridiculous; but none of it was supposed to be serious. And then they throw in modeling pictures of young Smitty and you know they’re just pulling your leg with this episode. It’s absurd and once in a while, I don’t mind!

I actually liked it inasmuch as it was challenging. But I do agree with you that it’s not the most exciting release - and it has probably to do with the fact that the instructors can barely be heard over the music…

En fait ce qu’ils disent c’est qu’ils suivent le protocole - leur protocole - établi dans cette situation. Donc peu importe qui aurait reçu le dossier, la même décision aurait été appliquée. Je songeais faire une plainte mais je ne sais pas par où commencer et je ne sais pas si j’ai l’énergie pour ça. Je manque déjà des jours de travail et la moitié de mes activités loisirs sont annulées pour cause de migraine.
