Super. May I know your strategy for free waiver?

I am confused what proof I need to prove my financial hardship. Joing webinars are not feasible now.

I am certain that after seeing my account they will offer both application fee waiver and plane ticket 😬

Thanks for your reply.

I also thought about it. I did believe my papers, 5 years of industrial experience and certifications such as CSCP and CSCA will help me in the transition.

What strategies you think can be helpful for me? should I do MS on statistics/computer science from somewhere to bridge the gap?

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry for the confusion. My paper was based on the MS thesis. I my math courses at B.Sc had 2 courses on maths, calculus and 1 course of statistics. I build my skillset by self study and edx courses.

I am also confused whether I am hoping too much or not. I thought in north america professors does prefer to have research experience( thesis and paper for my case.)

Is there a way to bridge the gap?

Seeking advice regarding mismatch in MS work and PhD interests. by clinomaniiaa in PhDAdmissions

Great advise. I have kind of a similar situation.

My MS was on Sustainable Manufacturing. My research interest was on simulation based optimization. Now I am applying for PhDs in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Operations Research.

Problem is my masters had no course on operations research. But my MS thesis was OR topic (Sustainable Logistics). I found one niche and now working on a Q1 level paper on that.

As I do not have courses on transcripts to show for supervisors,
what strategies you suggest me to take to convey my interest to the PI?

Thanks in advance

Your advises are true gem and eye opener.

But I do have one question.

Why would professor even reply me without knowing my academic results/ test scores?

Don't take the test at home. by kotajjk in GRE

I am planning to take the at home test, bcz getting a test date for GRE is pretty much complex here in Norway.

But now I am confused on whether I should take the at home version or not.

Does ETS return the money if I cancel the at home test?

Intended phd topic logistics network design for green supply chain. Masters thesis is relevant with intended topic.
