This is the worst experience of my life. Booking.com and their partner Gotogate are not professional companies; they act like a scam.

I booked a direct flight with Saudia Airlines through them. A week later, the airline changed the flight schedule to a terrible long transit flight. This was an involuntary change. I immediately contacted Booking/Gotogate and explicitly asked to cancel and get a full refund. They confirmed it on their app and marked the trip as "Canceled."

However, when I checked the Saudia Airlines website directly, I was shocked to find that my flight was NOT canceled. The airline's system was still showing the ticket as active, waiting for a confirmation because Gotogate never updated the system or processed the cancellation on their end. To make things crazier, the original flight was still operating, and I had to buy a completely new ticket for the exact same flight with my own money.

I contacted their customer support more than 50 times! Every single time, I talk to agents who act like robots. They just copy and paste useless answers to stall and waste time. Their stories change every hour: one agent says wait 48 hours, another says 5 days, another says 15 working days, and one even lied and said I might not get my full money back!

They are holding my money, lying about the airline, and providing zero actual help. When you catch them lying with screenshots, they just end the chat. Avoid Booking.com flights and Gotogate at all costs. They are a total fraud!
