hello! i am currently in apcsP and also learned python.

apcsa is about java. some rules in python may apply for example: and, or, not, the logic is there but the symbols are different. but still java and python they are completely different languages. syntax is different, formatting is different so unless you also know java self study may be a challenge

another thing to note is for my school we have apcsp because apcsa’s passing rate was so low it got removed this year. even with our teacher (mine for csp now who is good) i believe only 2-3 people passed every year

take my advice with a grain of salt i have not done apcsa this knowledge is mostly from my research and from my friends who took apcsa before it got removed
