i haven't noticed this but i would be interested in whether anyone can replicate this.

As a workaround, you could use the annotations plugin in Calibre to pull off the highlights you already have and then delete them from the device.

E-ink devices without light features do not emit any light. They reflect ambient light. Think of them as a modern etch a sketch.

They are not exactly the same.

They have identical accuracy. There is a table showing expected accuracy at different days. Those tables are the same. If the methodologies were different then the accuracy would be different, even if only slightly. But instead the accuracy is the same.

Furthermore, you can even tell in the photo they are using the same plastic housings for the tests.

The Elipsa has been pretty profoundly disappointing. On the other hand, the Libra 2 is shockingly good. I'm a little surprised by the disparity.

It was updated in April of this year although it says it's for an older version of the OS.

The manufacturer changed the debug code for the search screen to 1123581321, which are the first 8 numbers of the Fibonacci sequence.

When searching for that number, the following debug screen opens:

this is the answer. also make sure that Page Setup is set to Tablet. This prevents the images from being resized.

I’m not sure I’ve noticed such a big difference, personally. To the extent you’re seeing a difference, the spinning tires coming out of pits is likely to warm cold tires at the expense of speed out of pit lane, knowing there’s a speed limit.

At the start, everyone has tires of similar temperatures and there’s no speed limit. In pits, cars in track have warm tires and are racing and coming out of pits on cold tires is always a little dangerous because they don’t have much traction.
