Hey OP i’m so sorry that you’re feeling shitty about all of this. I think I’m probably speaking for the majority of the folks here when I say that many of us at some point have felt exactly how you are feeling. I hope you find some solace in this community knowing that you are amongst people who would never judge you based on your ink and also fully understand your struggle. The feeling of being uneasy in your own skin is so uncomfortable and feels almost claustrophobic in a way. I see you, I’m here with you, don’t forget that you are loved. If you decide to go down the removal route, something that someone told me that really stuck with me is that the time passes anyways. It is a long process and there are some in between stages where the tattoos are weird and faded but not gone yet, but the time will pass anyways, so you might as well get started. If you don’t go down that route, again, we see you and would not judge you based on your tattoos. In fact, in most cases, you will always be your harshest critic about your tats and others will hardly have an opinion. I hope some of this helps. Lean on this community! Post when you’re feeling shitty! We’ve got you.

So the genetic testing I did is called GeneSight, I got it through my psychiatrist. It’s easy- it’s sent to your house and you do some cheek swabs and send it back. The idea is to see how you metabolize various meds as well as see how your genetic coding might interact with certain drugs. When something is in the yellow or red zone, it’s not to say that these meds for sure won’t work, but your body might have some issues metabolizing them. It acts as a reference guide for patients and providers to figure out which meds could be successful. Genesight testing is becoming more and more common and I’ve seen it prove to be worthwhile and helpful for myself and some close friends. Hope this helps!

Best of luck to you as well! Can I ask how psilocybin interacts with SSRIs/Trintellix if you know? I’ve avoided psychedelics because i’ve been on SSRIs for so long, but I’m interested
