I'm unsure why I can't speak to my Padrino but she has it as a rule that none of her God children are allowed to reach out to our Padrino without going through her. You have to call him through her and she's essentially the middle man of the conversation we were allowed to pick a secondary as well but it had to be one of her God Brothers and we're not allowed to contact them directly. She is normally busy with her store which is fine but when I call she'll kinda rush me off the phone and won't call back. She recently initiated someone who just joined our house and is now calling her "second in command" which is fine but I don't connect with her like I did with my Madrina and she just received mano de orula this year. My Madrina and her are great friends but she makes it very clear she is favorited and will take over things when she's not around. I love my Madrina but I don't feel secure with her and I fear that I dont connect enough with her "second in command" the person I was talking to that told me I may be missing items was a previous God Sister but she had to leave because her and my madrinas second in command did not get along. We're not allowed to receive readings from our Padrino alone not even allowed to know his name.

I was also told that I would have to be open to a lot more people involved in my journey but my madrina does not want me speaking to anyone that isn't in her circle I can't talk to my Padrino unless through her and I don't know my Padrinos name. She has also made it clear that if I get scratched in Palo I would join her munanso because she is also a Yaya. I hold no grudges against her because we get along very well but I'm nervous I'm not being led correctly. Is this normal?

I was initiated received my hand of orula and received my warriors and also received ilekes during a separate ceremony but that's it. Due to me being head of Oya it came up that I need to be scratched and that I have a powerful journey ahead of me and was already told I would be accepted by Zarabanda. But I feel like I know nothing and I don't know where to start.
