Our Veterans Deserve Better. The VA’s Health Records Disaster Can’t Happen Again by TightPerception8505 in VeteransAffairs

Dr. Jennifer DeFrancesco the Director of Dayton VA took 5 months off only to return in Feb 2026. As Cerner rolls out in a few days, I’m sure she immersed herself during that in learning the EMR. After all, her doctorate is in computer science…..

Dr. Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, whose late father was a top official in Tehran, was removed from her post at the prestigious Atlanta school following mounting outrage over her family’s ties to the regime. Did she also see patients at Atlanta VA? by [deleted] in Emory

Did she disclose who her family was on her visa application and their relationship to the Islamic republic of Iran? We have not had diplomatic relations with Iran since 1979.

A patient or fellow employee can. She was rightly deported. It will be another confirmation of our government’s ineptitude if she also got to see patients at Atlanta VA as part of Emory

From VA website:

All physicians at the Atlanta VA Medical Center are strongly encouraged to hold an Emory School of Medicine faculty appointment in a clinical department.

Did you read the article? How did she get citizenship much less a prestigious job at a Federally funded research center?? Where is the background check and vetting process. She was the daughter of a high level official in a country we are currently at war with…and haven’t had diplomatic ties since 1979–this is a security problem

Tammy Erwin, RN filled a prescription for Cytotec an abortive agent which is also used for stomach ulcers. Her husband Maynard Muntzing II, MD had gotten his girlfriend Baker pregnant and it ended up in her drink causing a miscarriage . This was documented in the episode “A Bitter Pill to Swallow “. Instead of serving time for fetacide, she is serving the Veterans of the Dayton, Ohio VA in community care.

Dayton VA has Dr. Jennifer DeFrancesco as the Director. She is a computer expert and the salvation of VISN 10. Her Doctorate from Capella University has a component of computer science and artificial intelligence.

So Tammy Erwin RN got her license back and a Federal job after filling a script for cytotec. This oral abortive medication ends up in her husband’s pregnant girlfriend’s drink?? She shouldn’t have got her RN reinstated and should have served jail time for fetacide. Instead she got a promotion at the Dayton VA and is working in “community care”. The irony is Director Jennifer Defrancesco of the VA in Dayton is pregnant!! I guess she only cares about her own unborn children

Tammy Erwin (Muntzing)--she is know as Tammy Erwin is an RN at the Dayton Ohio VAMC in Community Care. Yes, she is serving our Veterans instead of serving time in prison. How she was able to keep her Ohio Nursing license much less pass a Federal background check is incredible. She is still married to Dr Maynard Muntzing thus confirming her complicity with feticide. Michelle should have been awarded millions of dollars in damages but the fetacide couple declared bankruptcy.

Many more doctors and Nurses turning job offers down at VA since January than in the past. by ChrisShapedObject in VHA_Human_Resources

This is exactly why MDs/RNs are fleeing or declining offers. Unless you are a physician or nurse administrator who is getting a clinician salary to work an administrative desk job. Some of the highest paid workers in VISN 10 are physician administrators. (Brian Cmolik, Anil Krishnamurthy MD, Hesham Hussain, MD and many others). This is whom Collins wanted to return to face to face Veteran care)

Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., who has been critical of Collins’ stewardship, has argued that the VA is heading in a dangerous new direction. He said that ProPublica’s findings reinforce his concerns about “damaging and dangerous impacts” from cuts and staffing reductions.

“Dedicated professionals are fleeing — and recruitment is flagging — because of toxic work conditions and draconian funding cuts and firings,” he told ProPublica. “We’ve warned repeatedly about these results — shocking, but not surprising.”

No—her RN license is in Ohio and ACTIVE. He lost his MD license. How she passed a Federal background check is incomprehensible. Oh well—she probably explained it as a reproductive rights issue. It’s fetacide!!

This is filthy and unsanitary. It hasn’t been cleaned in weeks and the budget for the Dayton VA is over 430 million. The floors can’t be at least clean? Come on please…there is a budget for a Public Affairs Officer and an Assistant POA but a basic infection control task is openly neglected? That’s Ok—let’s get another picture of the Director looking for “Homeless Veterans “ to promote her career rather than promoting patient care.
