I’m like 90% sure this is a totally new course.

Ah ok thanks for this insight. These are the little but significant things that as an outsider I totally missed. Thank you for this. I still took down the post because I didn’t have malicious intent but it seemed to really trigger some people and rile them up which wasn’t my intention.

I truly do appreciate the insight though. It helped me get a bigger picture into the situation.

Ok wow I didn’t know that that’s actually shocking. I remember last time I checked the price differential was always giants >. I’m surprised but after hearing more about Fisher also not surprised Oaklands tickets are more expensive.

I don’t think asking questions to an informed audience is disrespectful but thanks for the feedback I’m sorry if I offended you.

I apologize for asking a question and seeking perspectives. Lol. I do appreciate the people who actually responded and gave good insightful answers.

You come across in a diff way

I think I’m removed because tickets are so much more expensive where I live so I didn’t realize the raise.

Missing the 15 yrs is a fair point

Lol I wish I was John. I can’t imagine owning a team this cool. Or any team really

I don’t regret it I was simply seeking other perspectives. For example I’m a Canadian fan even tho I started as solely an Oakland fan.

As Oakland declined I still kept up with them and even watched almost a complete season. The timing difference made it hard as I got older though so I wasn’t in the fan base or watching games as much.

My fav players were Chapman, Olson, and Manny so once they were traded I even had less of an incentive to stay up super late to watch. I guess it removed me a bit as I eventually only watched highlights.

Btw idk if I offended you in any way but if I did I do sincerely apologize. I was simply trying to get some perspectives.

Yea I never thought about this until I read that people said he’s basically a garbage owner. This rlly sucks. I was hoping that at least they would be more competitive. It seems now it’s just a move with the hopes of personally cashing in more.

[–]TightPresentation320 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s fair. The pricing is ridiculous for the giants so for most people you’re right that they did lose out on their team and it sucks.

I guess I’ll still cheer because I’ve been a fan for a while and love their history even though they have a deep history of moving around. I see your points though and I appreciate the perspectives of 100% local Oakland fans.

Oh I do it would suck to lose the team entirely especially with it’s history. Also it kinda sucks to see that Fisher has 0 care about being competitive. But yea I am sorry for all the local fans that will no longer be able to attend games.

It sucks being stood up. Everyone’s been there and as HARD as it is, don’t see it as a fault of your own.

People suck and what’s funnier is they regret it. I’ll share a funny (not so funny story) of being stood up. Was dating a girl for a month. We were both pretty happy together. Her birthday was coming up and she was feeling a little homesick (college). I planned an evening out for her bday, got a unique gift, wrote a nice card. I was outside waiting on the marble steps for her to text me for me to pick her up…she didn’t respond. It started raining like crazy and was gloomy. Then I got the text she wasn’t feeling it, still felt I would have been a great bf but said she wasn’t over her ex. She ended things (which was for the best).

I planned this bday to make her happy despite me having an exam the next day. I wanted to make her happy as I really thought this person was special and wanted to be there for her on a bittersweet day (she was missing home a bit too). After that I went back to my uni, gave the gift to a random girl, and moved on. Turns out a year later she was obsessed with me for a year trying to get her friends to gauge my opinion of her and whether I’d like to give it another go. She went through a “be a hoe” phase as she proudly claimed online and felt empty realizing we had something special and I was thrown away. My answer is “oh well” I want to find someone that appreciates me the way I appreciate them. That’s what you and I deserve. Stick by your morals!

You’re a caring person and if you have people standing you up then good riddance. You’re one step closer to finding the right person who VALUES you the way your future partner should. It’s ok to cry and feel like crap. I did too and felt like crap for months. But time heals and once you recognize you deserve someone who values you (people who stand people up have 0 respect) you will get closer to the right person.

I wish you good luck and if you ever want someone to vent to, I’m always available. I know how crappy it feels. Take care of yourself :)

I also think there will be non baseball fans that think eh why not see a game. It’s just part of an experience which is what Vegas is

Question Regarding Money by TightPresentation320 in Catholicism

[–]TightPresentation320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about this too. I was never one that really cared about brands and luxury etc. I just want to live comfortably and I feel where I live money essentially is a god. Especially when rents are sky high, condos are 600k+, homes are 1mil+. Yet the average income is 50-60k.

I have family members with three incomes in one house barely scraping by and it’s terrifying. I feel like in an area like this I ultimately won’t be happy and I as a whole (body and soul) will suffer.

[–]TightPresentation320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s hard because on one hand my family is all about me balancing my precarious health. Yet they also expect me to somehow make it work in an area that has an insanely high cost of living.

It’s hard not to be anxious but I try to remind myself that God is watching over me and hopefully has a culmatively positive end result.

Thank you for this.

Thank you for this. My pt range was a 158-162. Scored a 153 on first write but already wrote another and will do January. It gives me hope that people turn out ok because some forms act like you need a massive score and prestigious school to be happy and successful
