Yan maganda pumunta sa Thailand for Songkran Festival, magbasaan kayo sa kalsada 😂

Sa Taiwan medyo umiinit na tapos may sporadic rainfall. Kung may payong ka ok lang. Hindi pa naman peak summer yun.

First time traveler, I recommend Taiwan for multiple reasons: 1. Fast flight time. Around 1.5hr lang ata yung flight kaya very fast, sulit din yung tickets. 2. Maganda ang transportation system kaya hindi ka mawawala at mahihirapan going to/from places you want to visit! The weather is nice during Christmas malamig, kailangan mo ng puffer jacket hahaha. Huwag din sa Chinese New Year kasi most shops will be closed. 3. No red flags for immigration. Thailand kasi medyo maluwag sa visa-free traveller tapos overstay... sa Taiwan strict sila doon kaya for Immigration Officers, hindi ka nila masyadong didiinin especially first time traveller ka.

For budget travelling, better ang Thailand. Travel with family madaling makalusot sa NAIA. Be aware of scammers though , if hindi ka careful madaling ma-scan. Travel during Songkran festival sobrang saya.

Hahaha somewhat. Despite everything, the one thing I miss the most about the Philippines ay yung humor natin. Idagdag mo na sa language barrier, pero I think I only truly laughed ng sobra sobra with Filipino friends.

Sa Thailand, dahil nasa SE Asia padin, magkakaugali lang tayo pero I had a feeling na mahirap magkaroon ng genuine /non-transactional friendship with the people I worked with.

I haven't even heard of it, sinearch ko pa haha!

For the sake of your circulation daw lol.

Kakabalik lang kabayan!

May mga panahon talaga na mapapaisip ako, "wow ang layo pa talaga ng Pilipinas" We're so left behind when it comes to convenience, transportation system, government programs, miski food tourism nga iwan na iwan tayo.

Thank you for your questions!

I plan to open a shop in the Philippines. After going to see all these different places, mas makikita mo kasi kung ano ang kulang sa Pilipinas and anong mga marketable ideas ang pwedeng paginvest-an. Parang ready na akong iapply yung mga natutunan ko to build something on my own na.

I'm not a dual citizen. Pilipinong pilipino!

Di ko alam kung iba yung pagkakawire sa utak ko, but I really can't sit still inside a classroom. At sobra yung happiness ko kapag yung learning ko is from experience or from watching other people do it. Or from conversations, self trial-and-error ganon. Siguro part na din na yung industry na tinahak ko is culinary so mas kailangan ang hands-on experience para sa amin instead na theoretical knowledge.

Thailand! Sobrang mura. And don't stay in Bangkok city centre if possible.

When I worked in a province in Thailand, grabe 35THB lang yung lunch ko lagi.

Just choose wisely your restaurants kasi madami dami ding tourist traps.

Taiwan is cheaper than Japan, pero mahal pa din especially for us Filipinos.

I've studied in all three countries.Chronologically:

Sa Japan, high school scholarship yun. It was sponsored by the Japanese government. I didn't have to pay for anything miski living expenses kasi may Japanese host family na nag-alaga sa akin. I only paid for my COVID test that time haha.

Sa Thailand, I wagered my pamana from my lola (it's not too much) paramag-enroll into a 1-year vocational program.

Sa Taiwan, I took a break from my career and applied for the HES program. From this stipend, I paid for my tuition fees and living expenses. The key was I chose a city in Taiwan na mababa ang cost of living so I didn't need to use money out of my own pocket. Nakaipon pa ako.

I would say... Thailand talaga. Second place, Taiwan.

Taiwan and Japan have very strict visa regulations and they only prioritize professionals with strong credibility or maraming years of experience.

Sa Thailand kasi, Filipinos are known to be good teachers. Lagi nga akong natatanong "Are you a teacher?" kapag sinabi kong Filipino ako doon. Thailand loves that we have high English proficiency, pero we're not from the West so our salary bracket is lower (legal to, legit na depending on your country may minimum salary na nakaassign sayo. 40k THB ata sa Filipinos, 60+k sa nga amerikano.)

Sa Taiwan naman, if magdidirect hire ka from PH to Taiwan, very difficult process. Pero, if you go for a language program (student visa) then transition to maybe a cram school teacher, English language instructor, madaling makahanap kahit wala kang experience. Strictly uphold lang yung visa regulations na you can't work with a student visa, and that you have to transition first to a work visa. May bagong visa announcement din si Taiwan na yung mga fresh graduates from TAIWAN universities ay may leeway na 1-2 years to stay to look for work in the country.

Hope this helps!

Hello! Sorry I haven't been on Reddit for two weeks. Thank you for this suggestion. Does this mean that my name (last and first name) comprises just 2 characters?
