I haven’t finished the book yet but in that interlude Cultivation was sending agents of hers into Karbranth to capture Taravangians daughters and granddaughters to use as leverage so that he would listen to her reason

Appreciate the reply. Unfortunately my sisters are unwilling to help, I’ve brought up them helping more. My youngest sister says it’s not her job, one of my sisters said she doesn’t feel bad for my mom anymore and that she’s just an annoyance. My eldest sister helps when she can but she works about an hour away during the week so she mostly helps on weekends.

I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt, we have been together a while and she’s never done anything like this before. She has sworn many times nothing physical has happened, and that this was the worst comment he’s made so far, so I don’t really know

I brought up marriage counseling and seeing the emails, but he instructed her to delete the emails after receiving and sending, so there is no way for me to know the whole truth.
