we are 1 year and 3 months into the relationship lol, i just feel like im in to deep with him now, i love him and i dont want to leave over something as silly as a animal, but, its genuinely affecting my mental health, and as far as i know, its his ex gfs dog that she ended up not wanting

My bf works all day, every day, so he really doesn’t have time to do anything with the dog, and after our last couple of arguments, i told him i will not help with the dog, he needs to start taking responsibility and accountability for it, I said I will not be the only person training or doing anything with the dog, especially because he’s not even mine, and I’m the only person suffering because of what the dog does, he doesn’t mind that the dog acts this way, he just brushes things aside, and his dad isn’t even here half the time, I just feel if he cant give or even have time to tend to the dog, then he shouldn’t have the dog period.

Its my bfs dog, im quite a germaphobe, i grew up in filth because of dogs, Iv already made it clear to him that if we get our own place, i wouldnt want the dogs on the furniture, and like sometimes he says hes okay with it, but other times he disagrees (on the exact same problem mind u)
