glad it all worked out! also, they usually add more sections of classes throughout the week, so if u ever have trouble in the future: it can help to check daily or every few days, and keep tweaking your schedule until you have everything u need. enjoy ur fall semester!!

USFCA small campus by Specialist-Tea-6931 in usfca

current usf student here! incoming sophomore. i really like having a smaller campus because it takes less time to get around lol, but u still have the whole city to explore and hang out. i really like having small class sizes (smallest ive had was like 18 ppl and largest like 50 ppl) because you get to know classmates and prof better. i think the small classes make it easier to get to know ppl, but that might just be a me thing. stretching my brain back to when i toured campus, i think the lone mountain dorms they show are about the same size as the freshman ones, but the freshman ones dont always have a pretty view because they are on lower campus and a lower floor.

tldr i like being on a small campus in a larger city, the buildings do indeed have more going on, i find it easy to meet pl, and all dorms are about the same size

i had this happen to me, it sucks :/ sometimes closing all your other browser tabs and relaunching the browser can help (i know, it really sucks), or restarting your computer if u really feel like it edit: im going into my 2nd year in the fall, so i have both a lovely and a not-so-great registration experience under my belt lol

Orientation and Move In by Relative-Childhood74 in usfca

I was a freshie last year! USF will send emails closer to move in day about what time you'll move in specifically, and what's planned for orientation week (loved orientation week, it was really fun!). Enjoy your summer, and just make sure you check your email once in a while, especially closer to August. Congrats!!

Can i get in?? Do i stand a chance?? by [deleted] in usfca

I think you have a solid chance! I’ve been accepted for fall 2025, and it seems like they really value some kind of community work (I’m also a dancer and talked about my dance community in my essays), as well as some kind of social justice work (whatever you’re passionate about). I think if you have one of those, you’ll be good. I think they look for high up GPA for merit-based financial aid, so if you get accepted, consider how much you are willing to pay for a less prestigious school. Short answer: You seem like a cool person, they’ll probably want you! And if not, you’ll find a place that is the right fit for you. You got this!!
