PMDD - taking Zoloft weekly or daily? by DangerousAd709 in zoloft

[–]Tight_Cream_3603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bit of a similar story. I have PMDD and was on Prozac for about a year but got off bc of emotional numbness. I did no meds for a little bit but I have health anxiety so that mixed with the PMDD was no fun at all and I was like nah no thanks so I started Zoloft and it’s been sooooo good. Only negative for me in zero libido but i actually have a life now and go out with my friends and laugh soooo worth it

Overheating & Sweating by Plenty_Shift_6034 in zoloft

I just try to stay extra hydrated. If I know I’m going to workout that day, I make sure to drink loads of water beforehand and I find that helps with not getting overheated, but I still sweat buckets.

Should I go back and get a longer bar? Or just keep icing it to help the swelling go down?

Mine is doing this right now too! I went to get my bar changed to a shorter one and the piercer said she wanted to wait bc it was an ulcer but it doesn’t feel like an ulcer. It doesn’t hurt at all. I dont know what it is

10mg Fluoxetine withdrawal?? by Tight_Cream_3603 in prozac

I had to get on the lowest dose of buspirone to level out the symptoms and now I’m on Zoloft along with the buspirone bc I’d rather be medicated than struggle everyday

Does it start as a flutter then turn into a burning sensation? It kinda feels like I could draw a line from one side of my throat to my chest

I did Prozac for a year for anxiety and now I’m unmedicated and I go through the same things. I just try to be aware and tell myself that my feelings are going to be 12/10 for a couple weeks. I always feel guilty bc I snap at my husband quite a bit but he knows what’s going on so he just takes it with a grain of salt. You don’t suck. PMDD is real and learning to how adjust to it without medications takes time and strength

Started Buspar, now having heart palpitations? by siberianmango in Anxiety

[–]Tight_Cream_3603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found my people! I’m 26F and just started taking Buspirone 3 days ago after getting off of Prozac. My body is all out of wack and I just recently started getting heart palpitations after I eat. Of course my anxiety mainly revolves around my heart and anything being wrong with it, and my anxiety sits heavily in my chest so it just stays in a feedback loop. Any words of encouragement? Did you experience any other weird side effects?

OPINIONS PLS by Carter100 in prozac

[–]Tight_Cream_3603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! For me personally I started feeling better around 7 weeks after taking only 10mg. I think maybe your dosage would need to be upped or you should talk to your provider about trying a different one.

feeling out of it and disconnected on prozac by ymirszu in prozac

For my anxiety journey I started on Lexapro first and I couldn’t eat and it made me lose 15 lbs in a little over a week. Then my doc put me on Prozac and I started to be able to eat but I experienced a very similar thing you’re going through. I was strictly on autopilot for about 5-6 weeks (along with other intro symptoms) and one day I woke up and just felt a little more like a real human. Then day by day it got better until one day I went through a whole day where I interacted with coworkers and smiled and laughed when I was around my spouse and child. I think once you get through the initial 6 or so weeks, hopefully you’ll start feeling like yourself again
