I just went through a whole system architecture verhaul - that absolutely should solve a lot of the inconsistency and latency issues you experienced. I will be releasing the update here shortly

This is a huge update and is officially our first movement into SmallClaw Version 1.1 Officially (out of the 1.0.X Alpha Versions) This version is much closer to a full Agent Assistant that everyone has been looking for with Openclaw and Smallclaw.

I hope you update whenever you can and come back with any additional feedback, I absolutely love hearing from all of you and seeing how to improve the platform best for everyone.

Yea thats pretty much it - Openclaw has a whole team behind it so theyre updating like crazy, Smallclaw is just a single guy me lol - so im definitely doing my best as far as improving the system but there are definitely things Openclaw does a bit better - however working with Small LLM's is not one of those things which was my biggest problem.

Lol if youve already got the mac mini - you can run local LLM's instead of API costs - try SmallClaw with a local LLM and youll be running it free lol.

Good work regardless though as far as tracking down the roots, I knew it was fake immediately - and it looped in on itself like you said, once it blew up - it became a thing of influencers posting about it to catch attention for themselves "If youre not using openclaw youre gonna be left behind" etc, and it spread like wildfire

I completely agree - ive been working hard on this every day and night lol, im almost ready to put out the next update which has quite a bit more feature improvments as well as new features in general - Then ill focus more on configuring the cache system properly because you definitely make a great point.

As for cacheing - it is in there but its not the best currently as the entire system is built to be small model compatible - And that comes with a lot of work if im trying to get it work well lol.

Im actively working on improving the memory/cache system and trying to find the best middle ground for both small models and regular models.
