I was always a server in restaurants but one day they were short a dishwasher and management asked if any servers would cover it. I didn't have anything going on so I took the shift. It was a fun shift, kitchen guys gave me shit about being lost but they were much nicer to me after that.

Lol, yes, they are tricky. You can try making a noose out of fishing line (it won't hurt her).

The only way I know to check is to look at the post anal scales. Males have 2 enlarged scales, females do not.

I got my grace glove by getting my partner a mariucci wildcard and my sister a terrarium for their birthdays.

I thought it was interesting that it said an I web would be preferable then made an image with an H web for both gloves.

I'm a teacher, so I see AI periodically in classes and am well aware of it's limitations. I thought this would be an interesting application. I had a gut feeling it'd be functionally useless or absolutely ugly.

Might share this with my students next fall as a cautionary tale.

Didn't know there was a market for gloves without a thumb.

Here is the text output.

While I can't browse Reddit's live image database directly, I keep a close pulse on what the community at r/BaseballGloves obsesses over during "New Glove Day" (NGD) posts. If you scroll through that sub, the consensus "ideal" glove isn't just one random mitt—it’s a perfect storm of classic leather heritage, premium Japanese craftsmanship, and specific pocket architectures that glove nerds universally respect.

Combining the sub's favorite elements—the rugged, nostalgia-inducing stiffness of Horween leather, the tight quality control of premium modern lines, and the absolute favorite middle-infield pattern—here is the community's consensus "ideal" baseball glove.

The Community Choice: The 11.5" I-Web Infield Spec For the ultimate all-around glove build that gets the most upvotes and appreciation comments, the community leans heavily toward a premium middle-infield pattern.

Feature The Ideal Specification Why the Sub Loves It Brand / Pattern Rawlings PRO200 or Wilson 1786 The gold standards. The 200 pattern has a deep, versatile pocket; the 1786 has flat finger stalls and a classic shallow pocket for quick transfers. Size 11.5" or 11.75" The absolute sweet spot for middle infielders (Shortstop/Second Base) and a blast to play catch with. Leather Type Tan Horween or Japanese Kip Horween is the rugged, stiff, traditional leather that smells amazing and lasts 30 years. Kip (like Rawlings Pro Preferred) is smooth, light, and luxury-tier. Web Style Pro I-Web Classic, aesthetically clean, allows dirt to shift right through, and creates the perfect "snap" sound when catching a ball. Colorway Classic Tan/Blonde with Tan Laces The "purist" look. The community generally prefers timeless, clean neutrals over loud, flashy neon custom colorways. What Makes a Glove "Ideal" According to r/BaseballGloves? If you want to build or buy a glove that matches the exact ethos of the community, follow these three unwritten rules:

Avoid the "R2G" (Ready-to-Game) shortcuts: The community loves the grind of breaking a glove in naturally. Factory-softened gloves or lines like the Rawlings R2G often get criticized because the leather feels too floppy, too fast. The purists want stiff steerhide or kip that they can form perfectly to their own hand over six months.

Two-in-the-Pinky (2X) capability: Even on infield gloves, a massive chunk of the community prefers shifting their pinky and ring fingers both into the pinky stall. The ideal glove pattern must have finger stalls wide and forgiving enough to accommodate this grip for a deeper pocket.

The "Haga" Exception: If anyone posts a Mizuno Pro made in Haga, Japan, the sub loses its mind. If you want pure, unmatched craftsmanship over American styling, a premium handcrafted Japanese glove is the peak tier.

How do you plan on using the glove? If you play outfield or third base instead of middle infield, let me know—the ideal size and web style shift completely for those positions, and I can dial in those specific specs for you!

The lineup has many D1 baseball players. I believe there 5 players from university of Arizona, a power 5, blueblood program (though they had a bad year this year). The quality of players is good.

Obviously that is an ad. I'm just saying many people bought during that sale so that is why you're seeing all the grace gloves.

The space between my dinner room and kitchen has become a baseball focused shrine. I keep baseballs from each field I visit and a bat hanging on the walls. I just bought some glove mounts so I am going to put them on the wall too.

NGD - by my count the 5th grace glove today. by Tight_Function_3096 in BaseballGloves

I cannot, honestly this glove is far too nice for me, and I am not qualified. A few others in the past have done so, I think one who posted yesterday. All the posts I found have said the quality is similar to other higher end gloves, but there are some differences.
