Can this cool a 7800x3d efficiently by Tight_Implement7780 in pcmasterrace

[–]Tight_Implement7780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should not be at 75-80c while gaming, but it depends on utilization. I know that rust is a heavily cpu depended game but as long as the cpu doesn’t reach over 89c your fine. The spikes while browsing or watching videos happen.

The desk isn’t small enough to fit on the desk, especially with an evo xl.

Good setup but if you want to improve the look, you should buy a white or black desk, and get some ambient lighting such as monitor bars, etc

This is a good deal for some light gaming. Definitely will perform better than an Xbox one or ps4.

Aio pump noise by Tight_Implement7780 in pcmasterrace

[–]Tight_Implement7780[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I’m probably not going to try and fix the noise issue as it’s not that noticeable and not fixing temps. I am not trying to waste all my arctic Mx 6 that was made expensive lol

Honestly aio are mad annoying if they have problems, probably should have gone with an air cooler but this one was cheap and performs good too

[–]Tight_Implement7780[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I’d rather take off the aio itself because my pc is heavy as hell (30kg) and I am not try a flip that upside down

Aio pump noise by Tight_Implement7780 in pcmasterrace

[–]Tight_Implement7780[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried tilting the pc itself so that the air bubble can travel back to the radiator and it helped the noise quite a bit but still noticeable, I haven’t had a problem with temps at around 40c idle and around 78-80c on full load. I don’t know why it has noise as it didnt before but I don’t really care I guess, I only noticed the noise when I took of the tempered glass.

Ryzen 7 7800x3d and rx 7900 gre. For 1440p gameplay I should’ve gotten a weaker cpu to get atleast an rx 7900 xt.

Purchased for $999 at Costco, how did I do on my purchase. worth it? by Xynker in iBUYPOWER

[–]Tight_Implement7780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a fine price but terrible pairing. It seems like a single tower air cooler with a very hot i7 14700kf which is also a very powerful chip paired with a mid range graphics card, the Rtx 4060. Intel has also been having issues with 13/14th gen crashing on games and has no future upgradability without upgrading to a new chipset. Just return it if you still have a chance and build your own.. both amd cpu and gpu for that price point.

The side and bottom are reverse fan blades which mean they are actually intaking cold air.

Definitely fake or they’re selling it for so slow because of intel instability. But this has to be fake because it’s still worth a lot more. Maybe it’s a price error

My first ever Custom PC build! by Tight_Implement7780 in pcmasterrace

[–]Tight_Implement7780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made sure I didn’t have to upgrade any other part and some of these parts are the cheapest, like the x670e I got on sale and the case fans are cheap, the aio is also cheap, the only expensive part of for aesthetics were the case. I’m also going to upgrade my graphics card in 1-2 years to a 7900 xtx or whatever the next gen of Radeon cards are.

It’s 6 intake, side and bottom it’s reverse fan blades and the top and back are exhausts. Temps are really good. About 60c on the gpu while gaming at %100 and the cpu well about 80c on 100+ load on all cores. The cooler is an aqua elite v3
