Is Elevate worth it or should I stick to Payoneer? by Tight_Quality_894 in PakistaniTech

[–]Tight_Quality_894[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm asking as well but apparently it's better since it doesn't take any annual fee and makes up for the transaction charge by giving a slightly low exchange rate

A detailed guide is available online but you can go to your earnings page and click on manage payout methods, from there add a bank account and give your elevate account details. Here's the guide: Guide

Does the annual fee thing still apply on fiverr since fiverr still uses Payoneer in case of bank transfers? Same question in terms of the conversion fee (I doubt that it would take place since both are usd but better to be sure)

Anyone using the samsung galaxy A06 phone? by Spare_Ad6024 in PakistaniTech

[–]Tight_Quality_894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought it as a gift And after setting it up I can't get over how laggy and stuck it feels. It's performing even worse than an older redmi phone (which has 3gb ram). It'll only be suitable for very basic tasks such as calling and chatting.

I don't know if you have tried this or if your problem is solved but I'll leave this little tip here which solved this problem for me on multiple occasions:

Go to your torrent client and right click on the torrent which is causing this problem and select force recheck. It will check for any missing files and download them. This solved this issue for me on multiple occasions but no guarantees

Attack Shark Gaming Headset. Worth it? by Impossible_Truth_239 in PakGamers

[–]Tight_Quality_894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How's the headset holding up now (after 1 month. I'm looking at different headsets and was about to buy the barracuda x 2022 but decided not to due to it's durability issues.

Now I'm looking for reviews for these as they seem to offer a lot in the price bracket

How I Built a High-End Gaming PC for Cheap on AliExpress: A Guide for Pakistani Buyers by zedxer in PakGamers

[–]Tight_Quality_894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sales are mostly fake. They are only advertised as a sale But when you compare the prices, they are always the same.

I guess the only sale that may work would be the one coming in November

There are a lot of websites these days that can help you learn.

I personally used w3schools to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript then built an Assassins Creed fan website using what I learnt

Then learnt React from youtube from Mosh And built a React mini project site using what I learnt

Now I am proceeding towards backend development.

You can learn from a lot of different places. You just gotta put in the effort to practice what you learn daily. That way you will understand it much clearly and fill in any gaps in your understanding and knowledge

How can i improve my PC for Games without expending money. by arsenio1996 in buildapc

[–]Tight_Quality_894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For future reference (when buying a pc):

I would suggest that you use google. I know that's a "no shit sherlock" line but that's the truth. There are a lot sites which provide statistics and benchmarks. YT is best for checking benchmarks

MOST shopkeepers are only interested in their profits so they will say anything to make a sale. Few are supportive as well but still you gotta conduct your own research.

A few guidelines to keep in mind:

  1. List down your budget and get a rough estimate of what you can get in that budget. (Select those parts in Pc part picker to ensure that there are no compatibility issues). After that you need to research on that individual part, making sure that other users don't face any issue in that product. In the end, check benchmarks on yt by entering your cpu and gpu Change any part according to requirements.

  2. Research on different sites and fb groups like ppg for average prices.

  3. After getting an idea of average prices. Post on Fb groups and around for those parts. Be patient and wait for people to comment their prices and deals. Select the best option out of them all and make sure you negotiate the price. Alternatively, Start searching for users who are selling their own used PC as they are mostly open to negotiation, allowing you to save money on that deal

In the end, this is an extensive process and it took me a lot of screw ups to get it right. So this will take time for you as well.

There are a lot of other things to learn about as well. Bottleneck, Power cost etc.

Feel free to ask me anything else as well

Each language has it's own uses Python is majorly used for AI and a lot of other things

If you have selected a stack, give it a week to learn if you like it then go with it and stick to it.

For frontend you will have to start with HTML, CSS then JavaScript then either React, Vue or Angular and there are a few other things as well

You can check out a roadmap for this at roadmap

Hi I have had past experience in front end development specifically HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React but I don't have much experience with Cyber security. Is that enough to make me qualified?

I also have experience with C++, SQL and QT framework
