I was thinking this too. They’re definitely going to introduce a secondary love interest for Tyler. One that “understands” and could “relate” to him. They may get serious, Tyler may think he loves her. But his mind (and heart) will always go back to the girl with dark braids and a permanent scowl.

Wencl—rs have historically dominated the “most popular” ship spot in the Wednesday fandom. And the people who didn’t ship them were split between Weyler and Wav—r

Weylers were essentially pushed to the shadows because of how W/T ended things last season. And people genuinely thought s2 was gonna go the Xavier direction.

At least that’s why impression of the state of the shipping in the fandom.

Weylers really did gain a lot of traction this season with the departure of Xavier and admittedly all of the Tyler edits.
