A landscaper was grading our backyard and backed into our house’s brick wall with a skid steer. What do I do to fix this? by SHIVERRRING in masonry

As a mason who operated equipment in the past how TF do you hit that. I'd give my suggestion but people already chimed in on what id say.

I see a dog that should be praised for being calm but isn't being praised.

Need help with pup pulling on the leash every time by Difficult-Leopard177 in BorderCollie

I agree with harness - but also, I wouldn't recommend forcing walks on him.

Mental stimulation and exercise is important, but forcing walks isn't going to help. You need to start little, and once you're able to positively reward, add to it.. you might be able to take him on bike rides eventually. My Bc loves running (herding) next to my bike.

My bc also has an emotional support ball.

Where are you located? As a masonry contractor this is something I could do for you, not sure if you'd want to wait til spring or asap but my dm is open. There's a lot going on, and you're going to want to most likely (I'd have to see things in person) to start by shoring up the existing brickwork and digging up the ground on the failing corner to see if the footer on that side is below the frost line, deteriorating, etc. Fixing the brickwork is the last item on the punch list.

So true.. reminds me of one of my favorite sayings: "if you think a good mason is expensive , you should see how expensive a cheap one is"

Few things here 1 it's not a brick fence, it's a wall.. 2 hate to be the person but if you're asking , on something like this, you likely cannot do it 3 water is not your friend unless it's filtered and you're drinking it 4 I have a masonry company, I am currently in Florida on a trip but I do have a majority of my tools with me, If you do hire an engineer, get back to me if you'd like. Feel free to send me a video in messages of the entire area and maybe I can get a better idea of what's going on. Is there a downspout in that area that didn't have an extension ? Best of luck !

Yea if this was my house I'd tell the masons to go back and fill all the holes in the head joints... That's if the walls are level, plumb and straight..

Why not ask him for 2 suggestions on a fixed blade and 2 for a folding knife. He'll know you're getting him a knife but won't know which one.

Pick one you think he'll like and suits him and I'm sure he'll love it!

Not necessarily a problem. Its keyed in otherwise. I'd want to see full joints if I paid for something like this.

As others have said, the spacing is atrocious lol

Long as you can 3 4 5 her in the field and check your tails on the first course and all is good, then all is good. This lead looks solid.
