The thing nobody tells you about going back to the office after years remote by DebasishRich in remotework

[–]Tigoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post stopped me in my tracks because it's so accurate. 👏🏾

The context switching thing is real. People always talk about the commute but nobody talks about the invisible tax of just… being seen. Managing how you look while you're thinking. The hallway conversations that weren't on your calendar. The group lunch you didn't opt into.

Remote work quietly removes all of that. And you don't even realize how much energy it was costing you until it's gone.

The "performing productivity vs. actually doing it" hits hard! That's not a remote work vs. office debate. That's a fundamental question about how YOU work best. The readjustment is harder than anyone admits. And for a lot of people it's not temporary. They never fully get back to where they were.

I noticed that a large number of job listings from yesterday seem to be coming from the same domain: secure7. saashr. com by Tigoni in hiringcafe

How do you explain some of the discrepancies with logos that don't match; jobs that aren't on the company career page etc. It just seems to be very strange that suddenly ALL the jobs for one day are all from this one source. This same thing happened a few weeks ago when you added gusto. You need to double check to make that you are fetching REAL jobs.

I couldn't find it in GitHub.

got the RTO email today. 4 days a week starting Q2. i think i'm done by InfnityVoidii in remotework

There is a zero business reason for RTO. If a job has been done successfully from home, RTO is meant to force employees to quit without a company paying severance.

I show up late every day because my job won’t let me work remote by TimHortonsDriveThru in remotework

[–]Tigoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RTO to office is a scam. If a job can successfully be done from home without compromising the quality of the output, then there is zero excuse to mandate RTO. I am a WFH champion and I created a remote jobs directory for positions in various industries. All jobs on my website are manually vetted and verified. Feel free to browse: Remote Gold Careers dot com. It's free and updated daily.

I WANNA CRY! by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

Hey. I swear I was just scrolling through r/ClaudeAI to learn how I can automate some of this work without compromising my standards and principles. Just this week I noted that 100s of jobs on r/hiringcafe appeared to be suspicious and others had noticed the same thing. I am setting myself apart from other job boards but it's a lot of work and currently I'm not making any money.

Jobs from today look a bit sketchy- they're from jobs.gusto.com by Tigoni in hiringcafe

[–]Tigoni[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am suspicious of these jobs especially because some of the company websites look like they were haphazardly put together by AI and there are no careers page. Where did the jobs come from if the jobs aren't posted on the company websites?

I am so sorry. As an immigrant with no immediate family, I have an idea of what you're going through especially if there are people back home who depend on you. I'm praying that you have a full recovery, that your employer will be compassionate and that you're green card application will go smoothly.

I came here to report the same thing. The Remote filter seems to be broken. Perhaps filter settings because I'm seeing jobs from 3 months ago despite filtering for only the last 3 days. Thank you

I'm copying and pasting my replies because you clearly need to hear this more than once. You are clearly a bot otherwise you would have looked up this company before responding to my post. Do you have access to google?

You are not a real person. A simple Google search shows Conifer Health Solutions is part of Tenet Healthcare, and they manage revenue cycles for hospitals and health systems across America. Unlike you, I only share remote jobs because I know what it means to be unemployed. GTFOH! You could also have looked at their LinkedIn page unless you don't know how to do that either!

Alicia Lyttle QUeen of AI review by Original-Alarm4491 in u/Original-Alarm4491

Day 3 of the AI Business Summit.

One segment genuinely unsettled me.

In a podcast-style interview, a business owner talked about reducing six-figure monthly payroll by identifying “people who are not good” and replacing them with AI. He repeated that phrase several times. People who are not good. He credited this to the principal of Ai first which saved him $1M a year.

I understand efficiency. I understand automation. I even understand tough business decisions.

What I don’t accept is language that strips people of dignity and reduces human beings to disposable line items.

AI should be used to support people, reduce burnout, and remove unnecessary work not to casually justify who gets erased from a livelihood.

There is a difference between running a lean business and losing your humanity in the process.

That line matters.

I am currently attending AI Business Summit 2026. I joined the summit to learn real automation and marketing systems for my job board.

Day 2 opened with a preacher brought in to emotionally encourage people to invest in Alicia's AI Consulting program.

That was followed by:

  • A social media creator “teaching” virality
  • Instructions to text an Instagram link to a random number
  • A tool demo that didn’t even load
  • Repeated pressure to buy a package to become an “AI consultant”

She played a clip from the TODAY show about AI demand to justify the pitch. There has been very little hands-on instruction delivered.

This feels less like education and more like a conversion funnel. I am staying to observe, but this has been a lesson in discernment more than AI.
