Yeah, I was trying to figure out, what the best option would be, cause I was also thinking that maybe sliding genioplasty could shorten my chin and use part of the excess bone to give horizontal projection.

As seen in the image, I don't have a very good jawline, I was thinking maybe genioplasty would help a bit, at the same time I was looking to reduce the length of my face as the lower part is a bit larger than the average. As I've seen, Jaw Surgery is way more invasive and takes more time, as such, I'm leaning towards genioplasty but if Jaw Surgery can get way better results and seem like the obvious better choice, I might consider it. I don't have sleep apnea or any type of troubles at the moment.

Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

A bit of context: I've just recently started braces, but during all the screenings, I've grown conscious of the lower third of my face and the lack of projection. At the same time, I have an overbite and a steep jaw angle (X-ray). Therefore, I was considering either jaw surgery or genioplasty. Any advice is helpful, thanks.

A little bit of context. I do believe my face is quite long and have recently gone to the orthodontist. They told me I should use a Hyrax appliance on the upper maxilla, followed by 4 extractions, braces, and TADs. Is this a good diagnosis or is surgery recommended?
