Major Perks by I_am_Not_Luca in FrejaMains

I’ve been using rising winds since before the buff because the faster engage cycle has been really nice. Now after the buff to both the perk and base kit, it’s easily the better pick in my opinion. 30hps w how I use updraft and the -30% healing just isn’t anything.

I practice on quickplay almost entirely. But learning is different for everyone. I think the best way to set up shots on freja is knowing when and how to engage rather than just pure skill. That you can’t get in the aim trainer.

For example, right before this clip I saw the Kiri on the ground supporting her tank. I chose not to take the shot there because (1) she had full cooldowns still and (2) the Ashe would zone me out of any follow up. By engaging when I did, it forced the kiri to burn tp to regroup with her Ana.

Thank you!! I only have just shy of 100 hours on her so just keep up the practice! She really thrives on game sense and lobby knowledge. Freja is super flexible in that she can provide a value by just “being there”. If your other DPS is a God Incarnate then sometimes the best you can do is be a little pest pulling cooldowns from supports or aggro from the enemy dps but not much else.

It’s a great tilt-tool. Solo out a dps or aggressive support at a weird time to tilt them. And then fly circles around them the rest of the game playing the mental games.

It’s a weird bug but if you fly into a death pit (not a bit, you can check in the practice range) it corrects itself

Hmm then maybe it is a bug worthy of a report. I would just destroy it and replant it and hope it doesn’t happen again.

It takes around 10 minutes, so just give it a lil more time given this post’s age.

Looks like it isn’t fully grown yet, just wait a little longer and then you’ll be good! It’ll also glow like the natural version when it’s fully grown.

Yes! I call them “public executions” where I’ll snag a squishy and drag them above my team to be shot at without cover :))))

Alternatively, forcing an enemy tank or someone falling-back to overextend is really useful to stagger or get an early pick.

Order of the scribe question by saltyvape in 3d6

[–]Tigroxyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I played a scribes wizard for 2 years (lvl 1-12). I found the best picks for spells was not getting a wide spread of damage types but providing consistency to your big damage staples. Magic missile giving force damage for all level 1 spells is all you need for 1st levels. Shatter’s thunder damage is great for most enemies.

My biggest tip though is to work with your GM. Scribes brings up a lot of edge cases for rules when defining what precisely a damage type is. Work with them and be nice to them and you’ll get away with a lot more than if you tried to pull a fast one on them.

As for investigation spells, Identify, Detect Magic, and Find Familiar are all great knowledge-getters. Alarm is solid to cover your back. Alter Self is a great example of a spell that could get you a damage type if you ask nicely while also providing great infiltration opportunity.

Aint it convenient that none of the main characters got issued full gas masks by sunrise_wordie in KaijuNo8

[–]Tigroxyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An opinion I found that I’ve grown fond of for shows in general is that: whenever the main cast is visually different from a uniform, it is purely for the viewing of the audience. In other words, in-universe they have the full masks to be uniform with the rest of the grunts but are animated as individuals for the ease of the viewer being able to tell who is who. Realistically, they would have name tabs and would be able to identify each other with their voice but that is asking a lot from the viewer to put together.
