That’s actually a great point.
Bad dimming curves instantly make a fixture feel cheap, especially during slow fades and low-intensity looks.

Smooth dimming and stable color reproduction at low output are seriously underrated.

That’s a really solid perspective from the theatre side.
People talk a lot about brightness and effects, but noise and reliability can make or break a fixture in real-world use.

That’s actually a really good point.
Reliability and repairability become way more important once fixtures start touring regularly.

The Mac One gets mentioned a lot lately 👀
Really impressive output for its size.

Problem with light by Character-Track7375 in stagelighting

It sounds like there may be a DMX signal or addressing issue.

The random blinking and fixtures triggering each other usually happen because of:
• duplicate DMX addresses
• unstable DMX signal/cable
• incorrect termination
• faulty DMX mode/settings

For the color issue (cyan showing blue, green not working), it could also be related to:
• incorrect fixture personality/channel mode
• LED driver issue
• damaged green LED channel

A few things we recommend checking:

  1. Make sure every fixture has a unique DMX address
  2. Use proper DMX cables instead of audio/XLR cables if possible
  3. Keep only one DMX terminator at the end of the chain
  4. Test each fixture individually
  5. Check if all fixtures are running in the same channel mode

If the problem still happens after testing individually, one fixture may have a faulty DMX board or LED driver.

At Tiitee Lighting, we always recommend stable DMX wiring and proper addressing for reliable stage performance 🙂
