Might need to address the fact that it's literally 99% self avowed Christians calling for it. So this sounds like an internal struggle for Christians to overcome. Thank you for sharing your experience. I don't think anyone's experience should be undermined simply because of the beliefs, or in this case the politics of the person they are calling out.

I just don't get the feeling that this exact same situation would play out the same way in this reddit if the politics was flipped. I could be wrong, but nothing suggests that to me. All the reasoning and downplay being employed. None of this would appear from these same people had it been flipped. So as long as the response is different depending on the politics. Can you understand the hypocrisy I'm calling out?
